Diamond Little People Academy is the brainchild of a husband and wife tag team effort, and one of the co-founders of the successful Boulevard Little People Academy (Deltrina Johnson). With it's humble beginnings in the Upper Dimond district of Oakland, CA Diamond Little People Academy has blossomed into a much larger vision as a family business that is preparing our young future leaders.

Our mission is to make education fun through play-based learning so as to ensure helping our children shine for our future. We believe that having safety and love at the core of our program will ensure fulfillment of this and ultimately help our children to flourish spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally and physically.
How are we implementing this?

We are not reinventing the wheel when it comes to curriculum. Our warm and friendly team aim to create a positive self-image for each child. Diamond Little People Academy's program and methods parallel that of Boulevard Little People Academy and include the findings of various child care resources, in addition to that of Merritt College Children's Lab, and Mills College Children's Lab. These resources have equipped our team with the necessary skills to give our children quality care and instruction.
